[Remote] Staff Platform Engineer

As a Staff Platform Engineer, you will be instrumental in developing a robust platform that handles large data volumes while ensuring reliability, security, and compliance, with the potential to grow into a key technical leadership role.

Skills
- Proven experience architecting and operating production AWS environments, including multi-region deployments, resiliency planning, failover strategies, and disaster recovery considerations
- Strong expertise with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and/or AWS CDK, coupled with ownership of cloud infrastructure automation and CI/CD platforms
- Hands-on experience supporting large-scale event-driven architectures, distributed systems, and high-throughput workloads with a deep understanding of reliability, replay mechanisms, idempotency, backpressure, and operational scalability
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in United States on a full-time basis now and in the future
- Experience designing or supporting modern data platforms, lakehouse architectures, or open table formats
- Operational knowledge of analytical, columnar, or OLAP database technologies in production environments
- Advanced experience with observability, monitoring, alerting, operational readiness, and infrastructure-focused incident response practices
