Overview

TitleWave Real Estate Solutions, a division of Fidelity National Financial (FNF), is seeking a residential Title Examiner/Searcher to join our Georgia team. In this fulltime role, you are responsible for delivering accurate, professional title reports while maintaining a high level of productivity. This role requires evaluating risk and liabilities in accordance with policy provisions and providing final title products based on verified facts and documentation. Georgia examine experience is preferred.LOCATION• Remote - must be US based. Work visa sponsorship will not be considered Duties

  • In compliance with company policies, underwriting standards and regulatory requirements, conduct title searches and examinations by analyzing public records to determine ownership, chain of title and matters affecting title including deeds, mortgages, liens and other relevant documents.• Clearly explain title exceptions, requirements, conditions and other matters impacting title and insurability.• Identify and assess title risks, liabilities and insurability concerns; perform curative research; recommend solutions to resolve title defects and escalate complex or high risk matters as appropriate.• Prepare accurate, detailed and well documented title reports while maintaining organized support documentation.• Procure required onsite or electronic records from county offices, courthouses, clerks and other recording entities, as needed.• Maintain good housekeeping practices and organized workflow.• Stay current on changes in state statutes, regulatory requirements and industry standards.• Other duties as assigned.

Education High school diploma or equivalent. Experience

  • 2+ years of title search and exam experience.
  • Strong analytical, research and problem solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.• Demonstrate sound judgment and decision making ability.• Effectively manage time and competing priorities.• Customer and solutions focused with excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to clearly explain title issues.• Working knowledge of industry concepts, practices, procedures and associated risks and liabilities.• Proficient computer skills, including moderate to advanced knowledge and use of Microsoft applications and other industry related software required to perform job duties.

Additional Information The estimated pay range for this role is $25.00-30.00 hourly. Actual compensation may be determined based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, location, skillset and experience. FNF offers a comprehensive benefits package to eligible employees, including:
