Key Responsibilities: Ensure compliance with all applicable environmental laws, regulations, and permits. Develop, implement, and manage environmental programs and policies. Oversee air emission control, wastewater treatment, and waste management operations. Conduct environmental impact assessments and risk analyses. Identify and implement strategies for pollution prevention and waste minimization. Manage environmental monitoring, sampling, and reporting activities. Liaise with regulatory agencies and respond to environmental inquiries. Conduct environmental audits and ensure corrective actions are implemented. Provide technical expertise on environmental matters to engineering and operations teams. Develop and deliver environmental training to employees. Stay current with evolving environmental regulations and technologies. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or Environmental Engineering. Minimum of 6 years of experience in environmental compliance and management within an industrial setting. In-depth knowledge of environmental regulations (e.g., Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, RCRA). Experience with environmental control technologies and pollution prevention strategies. Proficiency in environmental permitting and reporting processes. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
