Senior Curriculum Developer - EdTech

Our client is a leading innovator in the EdTech space, seeking a creative and experienced Senior Curriculum Developer to join their remote team. This role is crucial in designing and developing engaging, effective, and standards-aligned educational content for a variety of digital learning platforms. You will be responsible for the end-to-end curriculum development process, from conceptualization and instructional design to content creation, implementation, and evaluation. This includes designing learning objectives, structuring course content, developing assessments, and creating interactive learning materials such as videos, simulations, and e-learning modules. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in instructional design principles, adult learning theories, and experience developing curriculum for online or blended learning environments. Proficiency with various authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate) and learning management systems (LMS) is essential. You will collaborate closely with subject matter experts (SMEs), educators, designers, and developers to ensure the quality, accuracy, and pedagogical soundness of all educational materials. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop high-quality curriculum and instructional materials for digital learning platforms. Translate learning objectives and educational standards into engaging course content and assessments. Create a variety of learning materials, including e-learning modules, interactive exercises, videos, and case studies. Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to ensure content accuracy and relevance. Apply principles of instructional design, adult learning theory, and user experience to content development. Utilize authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate) to build interactive e-learning courses. Manage the curriculum development process from start to finish, including project planning and timelines. Evaluate the effectiveness of curriculum through learner feedback and performance data. Stay current with trends and best practices in instructional design, EdTech, and online learning. Ensure all developed content adheres to accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG). Qualifications: Master's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Curriculum Development, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in curriculum development and instructional design, preferably in an EdTech context. Proven experience designing and developing online or blended learning programs. Proficiency with e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate) and LMS platforms. Strong understanding of adult learning theories and instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM). Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills. Experience collaborating with SMEs and cross-functional teams. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a remote environment. Knowledge of multimedia development and graphic design principles is a plus. This is a fantastic opportunity to shape the future of online education.
