careerzynith is a global leader in online video sharing, empowering creators, viewers, and advertisers to connect, learn, and inspire across the planet. With a mission to make the internet a safer, more inclusive space, careerzynith invests heavily in cutting‑edge technology, data‑driven insights, and a culture of trust and well‑being. Our Trust & Safety (T&S) team works at the intersection of advanced AI, policy, and human expertise to protect billions of users from harmful content and malicious activity.

Why This Role Matters

As the Senior Director, Global Head of Adversarial Abuse & Analytics, you will lead a high‑impact, cross‑functional organization that detects, mitigates, and prevents malicious behavior on careerzynith’s platform. This is a unique opportunity to shape the strategic direction of a global safety operation, influence product roadmaps, and drive measurable improvements in user safety—all while working remotely and enjoying a competitive compensation package.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership: Define and execute a multi‑year vision for adversarial abuse detection, encompassing account takeovers, spam, engagement manipulation, and emerging threats such as generative AI‑driven attacks.
  • Team Management: Build, mentor, and scale two core teams – the Adversarial Abuse Operations team and the Analytics & Insights team – fostering a culture of high performance, collaboration, and continuous learning.
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product, Engineering, Policy, Global Business Operations, and Strategy teams to embed safety signals into product design and launch new detection tools.
  • Data‑Driven Decision Making: Oversee the development of robust analytics pipelines, dashboards, and reporting mechanisms that surface abuse trends, quantify risk, and inform executive decision‑making.
  • Rapid Incident Response: Lead on‑call rotations and coordinate swift response to high‑severity abuse incidents, ensuring minimal impact on users and brand reputation.
  • Policy Development & Enforcement: Work closely with the Policy team to translate analytical findings into actionable policies and community guidelines.
  • Innovation & Research: Champion research initiatives that explore novel detection methodologies, including machine learning, graph analytics, and behavioral modeling.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Deliver clear, concise, and data‑rich presentations to senior leadership, regulators, and external partners on safety performance and future roadmaps.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience leading large‑scale risk mitigation or abuse‑prevention programs, preferably within a fast‑growing technology environment.
  • Demonstrated expertise in building and managing data pipelines, statistical models, and machine‑learning systems for large‑volume datasets.
  • Hands‑on experience with SQL, R, Python, or MATLAB for data extraction, analysis, and visualization.
  • Proven ability to influence senior executives and drive cross‑functional initiatives in a matrixed organization.
  • Strong business acumen with the capacity to translate complex data insights into strategic actions that reduce risk and protect users.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building trusted relationships with internal and external partners.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree (M.S. or Ph.D.) in a quantitative discipline such as Computer Science, Statistics, or Information Science.
  • Experience investigating massive datasets to uncover patterns of abuse, fraud, or policy violations.
  • Background in adversarial machine learning, cybersecurity, or online abuse research.
  • Track record of publishing or presenting research on abuse detection, threat modeling, or related topics.
  • Familiarity with global regulatory environments and the ability to align safety initiatives with compliance requirements.
  • Demonstrated success in leading teams that operate on non‑standard schedules, including weekend on‑call rotations.

Core Skills & Competencies

  • Analytical Rigor: Ability to design experiments, conduct statistical testing, and interpret results with precision.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong programming skills (SQL, Python/R, MATLAB) and experience with big‑data platforms (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, BigQuery).
  • Strategic Thinking: Visionary mindset to anticipate emerging threats and proactively develop mitigation strategies.
  • Leadership & Influence: Talent for inspiring high‑performing teams, managing stakeholder expectations, and driving consensus.
  • Adaptability: Comfort operating in a fast‑changing environment where priorities shift rapidly and ambiguity is common.
  • Ethical Judgment: Commitment to user privacy, data protection, and responsible AI practices.

careerzynith invests heavily in the professional development of its leaders. In this role, you will have access to:

  • Executive mentorship programs with senior leaders across Product, Engineering, and Policy.

  • Internal training labs focused on advanced analytics, AI safety, and leadership excellence.
  • Opportunities to publish research and contribute to open‑source safety tools.
  • A clear pathway to senior executive positions, including VP of Trust & Safety or Chief Risk Officer, based on performance and impact.

Compensation, Perks & Benefits

careerzynith offers a market‑competitive salary (starting at $24 per hour, with performance‑based bonuses), comprehensive health, dental, and vision plans, generous paid time off, and a flexible remote‑work policy. Additional benefits include:
