Responsibilities
Define and evolve the Microservices and Micro Frontends architecture, ensuring scalability, performance, and security. Lead the design and implementation of serverless and cloud-native backends using Node.js, GraphQL, AWS Services, and databases (DynamoDB, RDS/Aurora). Guide the technical direction across teams, mentoring engineers and setting coding standards. Perform deep, high-value code reviews with focus on architecture, clean code, scalability, and long-term maintainability. Drive the adoption of AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code, Amazon Q, GitHub Copilot, MCP) and promote best practices for their use. Contribute hands-on in building React-based micro frontends, ensuring seamless integration with backend services. Ensure test-first development with Unit Testing (Jest, React Testing Library), Integration testing, and UI testing. Collaborate with leadership to define technical strategies aligned with business goals. Promote performance optimization, observability, and security best practices across applications and services. Requirements 7+ years of experience in backend development with Node.js, designing and scaling microservices and serverless architectures. Strong fullstack experience with React/TypeScript on frontend. Solid expertise in GraphQL APIs, REST, and event-driven architectures. Strong experience with AWS Services (Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, RDS/Aurora). Experience with databases: NoSQL (DynamoDB) and relational (PostgreSQL). Strong background in Unit Testing, CI/CD pipelines, and automation. Ability to mentor, guide, and elevate teams, acting as a technical authority. Experience evaluating and leveraging AI-assisted coding tools (Claude Code, Amazon Q, Copilot, MCP) to improve delivery and code quality.
