The individual will drive fundraising strategies, build and maintain relationships with donors, identify and develop new funding opportunities, and craft compelling grant proposals. The role includes overseeing donor engagement, managing campaigns, ensuring transparency in reporting fund usage, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to align fundraising efforts with organizational goals. The ideal candidate will play a key role in scaling Birbal's global impact and fostering partnerships with philanthropic organizations, corporations, and individual supporters.
Qualifications
- Proven expertise in donor relations, fundraising, and donor cultivation strategies
- Experience in grant writing, financial reporting, and compliance with donor requirements
- Strong presentation, networking, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to identify and secure new funding streams and build sustainable partnerships
- Proficiency in CRM tools and fundraising software
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills to meet and exceed revenue targets
- Excellent communication and storytelling abilities to engage donors and stakeholders
- Passion for social impact and commitment to Birbal's mission
- Bachelor’s degree in Nonprofit Management, Business Development, Communications, or a related field (advanced degree preferred)
- Previous experience in non-profit, philanthropic, or corporate social responsibility sectors is a strong advantage
