Software Engineer
Labcorp is seeking a Senior Android Developer to join our team at Yeshwanthpur office. Work Schedule Remote based - 2nd shift (2PM - 11PM IST) Job Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level Android applications using Kotlin, Java, and Jetpack Compose Lead end-to-end mobile application development including architecture, development, testing, deployment, and post-release support Collaborate with Product Management, UX/UI Design, QA, and Backend Engineering teams Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party SDKs Ensure adherence to mobile security standards and best practices Conduct code reviews and optimize applications for scalability, maintainability, and performance Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks Implement secure authentication and encryption mechanisms for sensitive data handling Maintain technical and compliance-related documentation Continuously evaluate emerging technologies and recommend enhancements
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience) 5+ years of Android application development experience Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java Hands-on experience with Jetpack Compose Experience with Android Architecture Components such as ViewModel, LiveData, and Room Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, and API integrations Knowledge of mobile application security principles and secure coding practices Experience implementing OAuth 2.0, JWT, biometrics, or similar authentication protocols Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills Labcorp is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer: Labcorp strives for inclusion and belonging in the workforce and does not tolerate harassment or discrimination of any kind.
