Supply Chain/Procurement Manager

We are looking for an experienced Supply Chain/Procurement Manager to lead strategic sourcing initiatives and strengthen vendor management efforts for a long-term contract opportunity preferably in Minnesota. This role will serve as a key procurement partner to internal stakeholders, helping identify business needs, evaluate supplier options, and deliver measurable value through effective sourcing strategies. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical ability, effective communication skills, and a track record of improving spend performance across indirect categories. Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end sourcing activities, from gathering business requirements through supplier evaluation, negotiation, and final vendor selection.
• Partner closely with internal stakeholders to understand service needs and develop procurement strategies aligned with operational goals.
• Help implement procurement policies, workflows, and best practices to promote consistency and compliance across purchasing activities.
• Analyze spend trends and supplier data to uncover opportunities for cost savings, vendor consolidation, and stronger commercial terms.
• Manage supplier negotiations across indirect spend categories to secure competitive pricing and service value.
• Act as the primary procurement contact while supporting the continued development of the broader sourcing program.
• Present sourcing recommendations and business cases to stakeholders with professionalism and credibility.
• Monitor supplier performance and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement function.
• 7+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management.
• Demonstrated background in indirect sourcing, including areas such as IT, facilities, or marketing services.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions.
• Experience leading supplier negotiations and formal vendor evaluation or selection processes.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively with business leaders and cross-functional teams.
• Strong data analysis skills with the ability to interpret spend information and identify sourcing opportunities.
• Detail-oriented presence and confidence when representing procurement processes to internal stakeholders.
