TeleAudiologist (1099 Contractor – Per Exam Compensation)
Real Hearing USA is expanding our telehealth-enabled care model and is seeking experienced TeleAudiologists to conduct remote hearing evaluations on a per-exam basis. This role is ideal for clinicians who are comfortable delivering high-quality care virtually, value flexibility, and prefer a productivity-based compensation model. You will conduct diagnostic hearing exams using validated remote tools, interpret results, and document findings to support patient care and downstream treatment pathways.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct remote hearing evaluations via teleaudiology platforms
- Perform and interpret In-Situ hearing tests and other approved remote diagnostic tools
- Ensure testing meets clinical, regulatory, and documentation standards
- Complete accurate clinical notes and exam documentation
- Collaborate with onsite clinic teams to support continuity of care
- Maintain compliance with all state licensure and telehealth requirements
Required Qualifications
- Active Audiology (AuD) license in at least one U.S. state
- Strong preference for licensure in GA, SC, TN, IA, and/or FL
- Demonstrated experience with:
- In-Situ hearing testing
- Remote or teleaudiology exam tools
- Virtual patient interactions and counseling
- Comfort working independently in a 1099 contractor model
- Reliable internet connection and appropriate telehealth workspace
Preferred Experience
- Prior teleaudiology or remote diagnostic experience
- Familiarity with hearing aid clinical workflows and handoffs
- Experience supporting multi-location clinic organizations
- Efficient, exam-focused clinical style that balances quality and throughput
