THE ROLE As a member of the Venue Nation IT team, the Digital Media Analyst will join a talented, diversified team that supports all technologies at Live Nation Venues. As a member of the team, the Analyst will take direction from leadership and help coordinate efforts with internal support teams and strategic vendors to ensure that the company is a technology leader in the live entertainment space and delivering differentiated value to our Venues, Artists, and Fans. This person will ideally have experience with several venue-related applications and technologies - and a specific expertise with Digital Media technologies and familiarity with CCTV systems. WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders related to Digital Media and Content.
  • Assist with the evaluation, deployment, and support of Digital Media systems.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and application issues related to Digital Media, Content Management and CCTV.
  • Provide technical guidance on systems integrated with Digital Media and CCTV platforms.
  • Ensure system uptime and performance, delivering appropriate content to each screen per business expectations.
  • Develop technical processes to maintain consistent connectivity for screens, Digital Media Players (DMPs) and CCTV cameras.
  • Gain in-depth understanding of venue environments and operations through strategic site visits.
  • Translate broad business needs into actionable work streams.
  • Organize meetings to collect application/project requirements, provide updates, and manage follow-up responsibilities.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the health and stability of the Digital Media and CCTV environments.
  • Monitor project progress and provide scheduled updates on milestones, deliverables, and overall status.

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING

  • In-depth knowledge and experience in current Digital Media technologies and operations, including:
  • Strong understanding of video compression formats
  • Expertise in delivering digital content to screens over IP networks
  • Knowledge of encoder/decoder use in matrixed environments
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong focus on customer service.
  • Proven success in working with vendors to ensure effective service delivery and results.
  • Ability to collaborate across departments and organizational levels to drive projects forward.
  • Flexibility to reprioritize quickly in dynamic environments while maintaining deadlines.
  • Strong risk management and conflict resolution skills.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities to support cross-functional teams.
  • Clear strategic thinking with the ability to articulate vision and effectively communicate with technical teams and stakeholders.
  • Experience coordinating with geographically dispersed teams in both day-to-day operations and event-driven scenarios.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2+ years of experience with digital content streaming systems.
  • 2+ years of client support and vendor management experience.
  • Hands-on experience with Digital Media and content management systems.
  • Experience with installation and support of CCTV systems.
  • General knowledge of network topology and components.
  • Ability to read and interpret floorplans and technical drawings (preferred).
  • Sound judgment and calm decision-making under pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Self-motivated and able to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
  • Experience with Zendesk or similar ticketing platforms (preferred).
  • Familiarity with the entertainment or live events industry is a plus.
