Job Summary This position leads and supports direct caregivers by influencing clinical practice and organizational processes for optimal care outcomes. The position leads at the unit or program level and across the post-acute care continuum. Responsibilities include overseeing admission and discharge functions and serving as the primary contact for the facility's internal and external customers. The position monitors practice to ensure compliance with licensing and accrediting agency standards and participates in hospital committees and the performance improvement process.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's Degree Nursing required and Master's Degree Nursing preferred Licenses and Credentials: MA Registered Nursing License required Experience: Clinical nursing experience 2-3 years required Nursing leadership experience 1-2 years preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills, working with a broad patient population. Team leadership skills. Ability to anticipate challenges and develop and implement strategies for addressing them. Proven ability to work independently providing a high level of services delivery, demonstrate initiative with the ability to prioritize work, and adapt to changing situations. Strong clinical nursing skill set.
