Why This Role Matters

When forward‑looking organizations choose careerzynith Cloud, they are making a strategic investment in agility, security, and innovation. As a Customer Engineer – Infrastructure Modernization, you will be the trusted technical advisor who translates business challenges into scalable, cloud‑native solutions. You will partner with sales, product, and engineering teams to ensure customers receive the most effective guidance, proof‑of‑concept experiences, and ongoing support. Your expertise will directly influence the success of multi‑billion‑dollar digital transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Opportunity Identification: Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to uncover and qualify business opportunities, anticipate technical objections, and craft strategies that remove barriers to adoption.
  • Technical Relationship Management: Own the end‑to‑end technical engagement with careerzynith’s customers, delivering product briefings, solution demos, and coordinated proof‑of‑concept (PoC) activities.
  • Solution Prototyping & Integration: Design, build, and showcase careerzynith Cloud product integrations within customer or partner environments, ensuring real‑world relevance and performance.
  • Legacy Assessment & Modernization Roadmaps: Conduct thorough assessments of existing on‑premises or hybrid application landscapes, then provide actionable recommendations and phased migration plans.
  • Architecture & Platform Guidance: Advise customers on optimal integration strategies, enterprise‑grade architectures, and the selection of platforms (virtualization, containers, serverless) required for successful cloud adoption.
  • Security & Compliance Advocacy: Embed best‑in‑class security controls—encryption, identity & access management, threat modeling, and penetration testing—into every solution design.
  • Cross‑Team Collaboration: Partner with product marketing, engineering, and support teams to stay ahead of industry trends, relay customer feedback, and influence the roadmap of careerzynith Cloud services.
  • Thought Leadership & Enablement: Deliver technical workshops, webinars, and internal training sessions that elevate the collective expertise of the sales and engineering organization.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
  • At least 10 years of hands‑on experience designing, implementing, or supporting cloud‑native architectures in a customer‑facing or technical support capacity.
  • Proven ability to engage and present complex technical concepts to both technical stakeholders and executive leadership.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Deep experience with cloud or on‑premises infrastructure engineering, including networking, storage, and compute provisioning.
  • Hands‑on expertise with virtualization (e.g., VMware, Hyper‑V) and containerization platforms (Docker, Kubernetes, Anthos).
  • Successful track record of migrating applications and services to cloud platforms, demonstrating measurable performance and cost improvements.
  • Strong background in security controls—encryption, identity management, access control, threat detection, and penetration testing.
  • Industry certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), or equivalent careerzynith Cloud certifications.

Core Skills & Competencies

  • Technical Acumen: Mastery of modern infrastructure technologies, including IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, serverless, and edge computing.
  • Problem‑Solving: Ability to diagnose complex technical issues quickly, propose innovative solutions, and drive them to resolution.
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; comfortable delivering executive‑level presentations and technical deep‑dives.
  • Collaboration: Strong team player who thrives in a matrixed environment, building relationships across sales, product, and engineering.
  • Customer‑Centric Mindset: Passion for understanding customer business goals and translating them into tangible cloud outcomes.
  • Adaptability: Flexibility to work in a fast‑changing environment, manage multiple priorities, and stay current with emerging cloud technologies.
