Visiting Faculty Program Fall 2026 Purpose: Engage with Chinese university students through online lectures by professors from the USA, offering unique perspectives and advanced teaching methods. When: Between September 1 & December 15, 2026 Instruction: Online: Each course consists of six 90-minute synchronous (live) lectures (540 minutes total) and 460 minutes of instructor-created asynchronous instructional content, for a total of 1,000 instructional minutes per course. The asynchronous component consists of narrated slides or visual presentations prepared and recorded by the instructor. The asynchronous content may cover material that overlaps with the live synchronous lectures. Instructors may use their preferred teaching materials, provided they align with the course description and learning objectives. No office hours, grading, student email correspondence, discussion board moderation, announcements, or course administration are required. The instructor will prepare a 50-question multiple-choice final quiz with the course. All instruction is conducted in English. Compensation: $1350 per course ($80 per hour). Short-term (2-3 weeks) in-person instruction is also available with higher compensation rates Courses available: Ø Principles of Marketing Ø Business Writing Ø Industrial Organization and Competition Strategy Ø Business Law Qualifications:

  • Doctoral degree in Economics, Finance, or business management related field awarded by a Western university;
  • Prior teaching experience in higher education within the United States or Canada is required (adjunct level or higher).
  • Minimum of two years of college- or university-level teaching experience.
  • Ability to teach in English is required.
  • Applicants must have prior experience teaching the course and have existing instructional materials available. Course development is not included in this appointment.
