Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Associate Representative, you'll be responsible for:

  • Handling outbound patient calls in a polite and professional manner while adhering to department guidelines.
  • Researching and evaluating each return independently to determine the return type and resolution course.
  • Maintaining accurate documentation and system records of all returns to provide efficient service.
  • Opening and sorting incoming mail and packing orders as required.
  • Processing Hazmat materials while protecting individual health information and following safety guidelines.
  • Processing credits within limits of authorization and forwarding credits for further processing.
  • Maintaining the Clerk Room and performing necessary functions within it.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide exceptional customer service through phone, email, or in-person interactions.

  • Process returns, credits, and other transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation to ensure compliance and quality.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues and improve processes.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, regulations, and best practices.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years of relevant working experience, preferably in a healthcare or customer service setting.
  • Health insurance experience with medical insurance knowledge and terminology is a plus.
  • Intermediate data entry skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • 10-key experience is required.
  • Detail-oriented with good analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact well at all levels.
  • Well-organized with the ability to multitask.
  • Ability to lift 25 lbs.

Nice-to-Haves

* Experience in a healthcare or pharmacy setting.

  • Familiarity with medication return processes.
