Foundation Relations & Corporate Philanthropy Research Associate

Research and Identify Funding Opportunities: Conduct thorough research and analysis of potential funding sources from foundations and corporations to support the university's research and academic programs. Maintain Database: Create and maintain a comprehensive database of potential funders, including contact information, funding criteria, and deadlines. Develop Relationships: Cultivate and maintain relationships with foundation and corporate representatives to understand their funding priorities and interests. Proposal Writing: Collaborate with faculty and staff to develop compelling funding proposals that align with the university's mission and goals. Grant Management: Oversee the administration and management of awarded grants, ensuring compliance with funder requirements and timely reporting. Prospect Management: Track and monitor progress of funding proposals and maintain a record of past and current funding relationships. Networking: Attend networking events and conferences to build relationships with potential funders and stay updated on industry trends and best practices. Collaboration: Work closely with the Foundation Relations and Corporate Philanthropy team to strategize and coordinate funding efforts. Adhere to University Policies: Ensure all research and grant proposal processes are in compliance with university policies and regulations. Support Fundraising Initiatives: Collaborate with the Development team to support fundraising initiatives and contribute to the overall success of the university's development efforts.
