Visit our website to learn more. Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Inside Sales Engineer to join our team. This role is pivotal in identifying and nurturing customer relationships, with the primary goal of creating sales opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in both engineering and sales, and will thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. As an Inside Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for initiating and maintaining customer relationships, taking orders for repeat business, and identifying new sales opportunities. You will also play a crucial role in supporting our sales engineers by opening doors to prospective customers. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about engineering and has a knack for sales. Inside sales is the process of connecting with prospects or customers via calls, emails, or other online channels, rather than meeting them in person. Inside sales is ideal for transactional business, and usually relates to MRO needs and smaller problem solving. Key Responsibilities: Identify Sales Opportunities: Proactively identify and pursue new sales opportunities through research, networking, and outreach. Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded. Securing Orders: Secure orders for repeat business and simple new orders, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty. Support Sales Engineers: Assist sales engineers by setting up meetings with prospective customers and providing them with necessary information and support. Market Research: Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs. Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline status in the CRM system. Collaboration: Work closely with the sales colleagues to develop and implement effective sales strategies. Customer Feedback: Gather and analyse customer feedback to improve services, and sales processes. Training and Development: Continuously improve your knowledge of our products and services, as well as sales techniques and industry best practices. Skills/Experience: Due to the nature of this role you are required to speak both English and a local language. Ideally you will have technical experience working with mechanically engineered / process equipment products or services. This role requires you to work with various key clients and customers – the ability to be agile, solve problems effectively and make commercially astute decisions on the go is essential. Comfortable working with KPIs. Ideally you will have knowledge in a Sales function preferably in a Business-to-Business environment; an understanding of Customer Relationship Management and Enterprise Resource Planning systems would be an asset.
