Remote Operations Coordinator (1099)

About Us 414 Connections LLC is a growing underground telecommunications construction company based in the midwest. We specialize in underground fiber optic installation, directional drilling, trenching, missile boring, aerial construction, and telecommunications infrastructure projects throughout the midwest. We are looking for a reliable, organized, and motivated Remote Operations Coordinator to help support our daily operations, scheduling, onboarding, communication, and administrative management.

Responsibilities

• Manage and organize company emails
• Schedule meetings and video calls
• Maintain and update calendars
• Assist with crew scheduling and communication
• Organize onboarding paperwork and employee documents
• Coordinate drug test appointments and badging requirements
• Maintain spreadsheets, reports, and project tracking
• Assist with invoice tracking and document organization
• Communicate with vendors, contractors, and clients
• Take notes during meetings and provide follow-up summaries
• Help maintain organized Google Drive and company files
• Support daily administrative and operational tasks as assigned

Requirements

• Strong communication skills in English
• Spanish bilingual preferred
• Experience with Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace
• Ability to use Excel or Google Sheets
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Professional communication and problem-solving ability
• Reliable internet connection and home office setup
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Construction, telecom, dispatching, or operations experience is a plus

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working remotely
• Experience in construction or telecommunications industry
• Scheduling or operations coordination experience
• Familiarity with Google Calendar, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, or Slack
• Bilingual (Spanish)

Compensation

• 1099 Independent Contractor
• Starting Pay: $10–$18 per hour (based on experience)
