[Remote] Senior Data Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Stott and May is supporting a rapidly growing FinTech client that is looking to hire a Senior Data Engineer to help scale and modernize their data platform. This role will play a key part in supporting critical lending and financial operations while helping drive the next phase of the company's data strategy.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines and data platforms
- Support data initiatives across lending, servicing, and broader financial operations
- Work with engineering, product, and business stakeholders to deliver reliable data solutions
- Help improve data architecture, performance, and scalability across cloud environments
- Contribute to the growth and modernization of the organization's data capabilities
Skills
- Strong experience as a Data Engineer in modern cloud environments
- Expertise building and maintaining scalable data pipelines and data platforms
- Experience working with large and complex datasets
- Strong stakeholder communication and collaboration skills
- Prior experience within FinTech, banking, lending, payments, or financial services is highly preferred
