[Remote] Senior Retention Marketing Specialist
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Simplistic, LLC is seeking a strategic and client-focused Senior Retention Marketing Specialist to join our Retention Marketing Team. In this role, you’ll manage a portfolio of high-growth DTC brands, driving the execution and evolution of email and SMS marketing strategies that deliver measurable results. You will lead campaign strategy and performance analysis while collaborating closely with designers, copywriters, and analysts to align with client goals and uncover data-driven opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of client accounts, overseeing day-to-day execution while driving long-term strategic goals
- Create, manage, optimize, and report on email and SMS marketing campaigns that align with client objectives
- Develop and implement measurement strategies to track performance and deliver actionable insights
- Champion client success by crafting tailored retention marketing strategies that drive business results
- Analyze customer and campaign data to uncover strategic opportunities and guide marketing decisions
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, building strong, long-term relationships through proactive communication and strategic leadership
- Stay ahead of industry trends and provide expert recommendations on email/SMS marketing best practices
- Lead cross-functional collaboration with designers, copywriters, and data analysts to bring strategies to life
- Partner with internal teams and discipline leads to continuously improve processes, methodologies, and client outcomes
Skills
- 3+ years of experience as a digital strategist or marketer, either agency or client-side
- Hands-on experience with email and SMS marketing; strong knowledge of retention strategies
- Proven ability to develop and implement marketing strategies that deliver measurable results
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into compelling narratives and strategy
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated success in managing and growing long-term client relationships
- Solid understanding of branding, content strategy, and customer lifecycle marketing
- Experience with Klaviyo and Figma is a plus
