STEM Curriculum Developer
Villanova University is hiring a STEM Curriculum Developer to create virtual learning materials and lesson plans in STEM subjects including math, biology, physics, engineering, geology, and paleontology. The role involves designing single-subject and interdisciplinary modules aligned with educational standards and collaborating with educators and researchers to develop Virtual Field Trips and STEM experiences for national distribution. - Develop STEM lesson plans, instructional content, and assessments for high school and early college students
- Create both single-discipline and interdisciplinary curriculum modules
- Align curriculum with Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) and other state/national standards
- Design interactive exercises and student activities to promote engagement
- Collaborate with faculty, graduate students, and external partners to ensure content quality
- Utilize online learning platforms to upload and organize curriculum content
- Required: Bachelor’s degree, strong writing, organizational, and collaboration skills
- Preferred: Experience with online curriculum design and interest in virtual learning
- Position is part-time (10-25 hours/week), temporary, with flexible hours starting Summer 2025
- Compensation commensurate with experience
