Key Responsibilities

As a FT Customer Service Travel Specialist – Work From Home, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to clients by responding promptly and accurately to inquiries and requests. Your expertise will be sought after by clients seeking travel advice and recommendations, and you'll utilize various computer systems and software to process and track reservations, payments, and refunds. You'll also be responsible for monitoring and resolving any issues or concerns related to travel reservations and payments, while maintaining a high level of professionalism and adhering to company policies and procedures. Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing exceptional customer service to clients by responding promptly and accurately to inquiries and requests
  • Acting as a travel consultant by researching and recommending various travel options to meet clients' needs
  • Utilizing various computer systems and software to process and track reservations, payments, and refunds
  • Monitoring and resolving any issues or concerns related to travel reservations and payments
  • Maintaining a high level of professionalism and adhering to company policies and procedures
  • Collaborating with team members to improve processes and ensure a seamless customer experience
  • Continuously staying updated on industry trends and changes in travel regulations to provide the most up-to-date information to clients

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following essential qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of experience in customer service, preferably in the travel industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and resolve complex issues
  • Proficiency in computer systems and software, including Microsoft Office and Google Suite
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and teamwork
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be a plus:

  • Experience working in a remote or virtual environment
  • Knowledge of travel industry software and systems, such as Sabre or Amadeus
  • Certification in customer service or travel industry, such as CTC or CTM
  • Experience working with diverse client populations, including international clients
  • Strong knowledge of travel regulations and industry trends
